TechCruch.com is reporting that Amazocomn. as part of its acquisition of Zappos.com,  is getting the domain Clothes.com thrown in.

According to TechCrunch, the domain name, clothes.com was purchased by Zappos.com, from IdealLab.com for $4.9 Million in 2008.

The article points out had that domain sale been reported, it would have been the second largest domain sale of 2008, behind Fund.com for $10 Million.

This is more proof that a lot of huge domain transactions fly under the radar.
